Where do you live?

Windward side of Oahu in Hawaii, but I travel to perform all over the world

What do you do on a regular basis?

Usually, one or more of the following:

  1. Livestreaming on Live.Me, Periscope, LiveStar, YouNow, YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, or Facebook

  2. On air on iHeartRadio's 93.9FM The Beat with Sam and Ryan

  3. Singing, playing the violin, playing the guitar, playing the piano, and pretending to beatbox all at once somewhere at a live show

  4. Learning or practicing a new language - I've studied 12... going on 20 ;)

  5. Cooking and developing recipes for Produce Party

  6. Recording a video for my youtube channel

  7. Eating, sleeping, showering, getting my nails did, living.......

How many years have you pursued music?

I started performing in front of human beings in 2005.

How tall are you?

Who are you dating?

I love music, and have been known to be a workaholic. It's not "work" if you love what you're doing!

Oh! I also love linguistics, culinary arts, animals, and traveling.

I love researching the about the fluctuations, controversy, and confusion behind kryptocurrencies.

Documentaries are really fun too. #netflixandchill

I like taking electronics apart.

Ice skating.

Making homemade skincare products.

I like to make everything from scratch - including, but not limited to: almond milk, marshmallows, granola, cakes, any baked goods, juices, smoothies, lotion, shampoo, body wash, everything. Cans, preservatives, and artificial anythings not preferred.

What is your ethnicity?

My DNA results are in! I'm mostly Chinese + 12% Siberian/Russian & 9% Polynesian.

Then, why "Thai"?

My birth name is Olivia Thai, and when the time came to begin my career as a musician, I really didn't want to stray from who I am as a person.  My name is Olivia Thai, and that's what I chose as my "stage name".

Culture fact: "Thai" is not even a Thai last name.  It's actually the Vietnamese version of Tsai, Tai, Cai, Chai, Chua, and Choi.  I'm not Vietnamese, but my family lived in Vietnam for a few years before they moved to the US.  Hence, we now have a Vietnamese last name even though we are actually Chinese by ethnicity and culture.

How long have you been singing & playing instruments?

Singing since 2, piano since 4, violin since 9, and guitar since 13.

And beatboxing? I really don't consider myself to be a beatboxer... I just know a few sounds that I've picked up here and there.

In fact, I don't consider myself to be a pianist, guitarist, or violinist either.

Who am I anyway...? Am I my résumé...? #musicalreference
