Ice skating.
Making homemade skincare products.
I like to make everything from scratch - including, but not limited to: almond milk, marshmallows, granola, cakes, any baked goods, juices, smoothies, lotion, shampoo, body wash, everything. Cans, preservatives, and artificial anythings not preferred.
What is your ethnicity?
My DNA results are in! I'm mostly Chinese + 12% Siberian/Russian & 9% Polynesian.
Then, why "Thai"?
My birth name is Olivia Thai, and when the time came to begin my career as a musician, I really didn't want to stray from who I am as a person. My name is Olivia Thai, and that's what I chose as my "stage name".
Culture fact: "Thai" is not even a Thai last name. It's actually the Vietnamese version of Tsai, Tai, Cai, Chai, Chua, and Choi. I'm not Vietnamese, but my family lived in Vietnam for a few years before they moved to the US. Hence, we now have a Vietnamese last name even though we are actually Chinese by ethnicity and culture.
How long have you been singing & playing instruments?
Singing since 2, piano since 4, violin since 9, and guitar since 13.
And beatboxing? I really don't consider myself to be a beatboxer... I just know a few sounds that I've picked up here and there.
In fact, I don't consider myself to be a pianist, guitarist, or violinist either.
Who am I anyway...? Am I my résumé...? #musicalreference
